Leeds Trinity & All Saints College Open day

From the moment we got chauffered into the carpark by smiley faces,  I knew Leeds Trinity & All Saints was going to be a friendly college. The location compliments the friendly atmosphere by being surrounded by fields. This may be lovely but I think i would prefer being in the heart of a city. However, you can take a 10-15 minute bus ride and you are in the centre of  Leeds.

On arrival we went straight to the Journalism stand where we were greeted by a bubbly multiple award winning journalist Dean Naidoo. He informed us on the course and what it consists of and we chatted alot about the importance of work experience and what work experience he has.His first taste of work experience was writing obituaries for a newspaper. He said it wasn't the most satisfying job and found it hard to speak to people who had just lost a loved one and to be ruthless by getting information out of them.I quote his words ; 'If you can do that, you will have the confidence to speak and interview anyone'
